This little lady will be 10 years old tomorrow!!!

It’s hard to believe that 10 years ago we decided to expand our family and get a female puppy.

We did a lot of research before we decided on a breeder that we could trust.  One that wasn’t running a puppy mill.  Knowing the blood lines and historical health of the puppies ancestry was something that was important to us.

We chose Nala!  (aka Lala, Dolla Bill, Dahli Mama, I could go on and on.  LOL)

In true Nala style, she fit right in and immediately started running the show with our other two dogs right from the start.  10 years later, she is still the one in charge.

She had the cutest heart butt!

She is incredibly strong and has proven to have quite the will to live.  She has had more near death experiences than I care to reflect upon.

She loves her boyfriend Andro,

And keeps her puppies, Eva and Lyssa, in line, even though they are 6 now!  LOL

Nala is such a loving mama, that she has even embraced being a mama to Luna Love!

I am thankful that we have had 10 blessed years full of love and laughter with Nala.  I will embrace every day that we have with her.  Watching her outsmart the other three dogs so they are distracted from Daddy and she can then run over to get all of the love and attention.  Or seeing her quietly walk up to one of the other dogs, with the hair on her back standing up, and seeing them immediately pay attention to her and completely submit to her.  She doesn’t even make a noise!!!  It is so impressive!  They just know she means business. They start licking her face or lay down and give her belly.  At the same time, she will clean them and nurture them.  But they know she will not tolerate any crap from them.  She really is the best mom ever!
